Yay, job!
I just got a raise! As in about ten minutes ago! Another dollar an hour for meeee. I've been thinking it was about time the last few months, and I knew I just had to wait. Now moving out doesn't seem like it'll kill me. The extra cash will definitely help me feel better about this. I've been a little worried about how poor my ass will get, and this will help out. It'll be good.
I'm really excited about this fall. A whole lotta things will be different, and it's time for me to have a change. I've been stagnating a bit this past year, and changes in environment motivates me.
I feel like people think treasurer is the bitch job, and I suppose it might be, but that's okay. I'm dead excited about it, and there's a lot of things I'd like to do. I need to start on that list of things Omega owns,... we have no idea how much crap we own and we need a list of assets. Between power saws and drills, hammers, car wash equipment and Adopt-A-Highway vests, we have a lot of stuff that's worth money. We don't need to lose it track of this stuff either. Profit shares during band camp. Those'll be good and easy. Also, we always donate to different funds when we get a request, but I think we should find some music programs to donate money to. I want to see us give support back to some of the programs that created the musicians in chapter. I know there have to be some favorite programs some of us went to that could use a donation.
And then we owe $1,000 to districts. *sigh* this puts a hurtin on us. Bitch! Sorry, I'm a DORK.
