treasurer, bitch
So remember how I was elected Treasurer of KPsi? Well, ok so I never posted about it. It happened though, I swear.
ANYWAY.
I finally got our account switched into my name this morning, and got all of the stuff from Jared. Wow, there's a lot of CRAP. And do I mean crap! I was given some cool stuff too though, and I've already gone through most of it. Yikes, do I have some serious work ahead of me! I have a giant box of shirts and things from years past, and some hats, playing cards, and window stickers bearing the KKPsi name and crest. Some of the shirts have moth holes in them, which sucks balls. I even have some TBS shirts that TBS apparently wants nothing to do with. Eh. We'll sell them at some event and make money off of them. I deposited all of the checks and things that Jared has been collecting, and now our bank account has a pretty fatty balance. The Spring Fling check was the largest we've ever received. All the other old stubs for Spring Fling were all at least $600 less. I think this post officially makes me dorky, but that's okay. I'm really excited about this shit, and that's okay. I'm really excited about fundraising too, which never happens. The easiest one I've come up with is doing a profit-share during Band Camp at Boston Market. Ten million band kids eat lunch and dinner there, and all we'd have to do is set it up, announce it, and collect a fat check. Brilliant I say, brilliant.

KKPsi gals getting together tonight since the boys are doing something exclusive. I'm not sure how I'm feeling about this exclusivity thing. I can understand how She-Devils started, but now we have the boys doing a separate thing in response,... is this good? Kappa Kappa Psi has long had issues with incorporating women, and this feels like a step back. I'm not saying we shouldn't do these things, but I'm just wondering why we do these things. Strange.
