Travis and Connor looked at their work on the Hypnos cabin. They had replaced all the warm milk with Red bull mixed with coffee and a couple gallons of sugar. So there might have been a i/little/I bit less energy drink than there had been when they mixed it. Oops. That might be the explanation for why they were so jittery when they ran to their secret bunker in the Hermes. Maybe it was more like a supply closet, but still, better safe than sorry! After all, never underestimate the power of sleep-deprived campers!
Conner whispered from his cramped position next to the giant bottle of antifreeze which had somehow gotten into their secret lair. "Dude, I think we're forgetting something."
"Yeah, we forgot that this place is way too small for the both of us. I can barely talk with your butt in my face!"
"No bro, it's something important"
"What? is it Katie's birthday? I swore I marked that on my calendar..."
"Travis, I get that you stalk Katie, but I get the feeling we're forgetting something way bigger than that."
"I DO NOT STALK KATI--"
Travis' indignant reply was cut short by the scuffling and crashing noises coming from outside.
"Percy's coming back!" "Yeah, the Argo's about to land!" "That ship is totally tricked out...it's probably worth more than all of us put together." "Bet I can steal more stuff than you can!"
Travis turned back to his brother.
"Shit dude. We totally--"
"Forgot, I know"
"What are we still doing here anyways?"
"No clue, brother mine, let's get the Hades out of here!"
The Stoll brothers raced out of the cabin, or at least tried to race out of the cabin. There was much clanging and banging of toes and cursing involved.
After getting out of their cabin, they waited with all the other campers near the lake.
Leo got off the warship first, with his hair on fire, and running for his life. Piper's screams were coming from inside the ship.
"YOU BETTER WATCH OUT, VALDEZ! WHY THE HELL DID YOU TURN MY HAIR BLUE!!??"
Travis and Connor stared at the scene with smiles on their faces, and arms around each other's shoulders. Ah, the pranks to plan.
"Looks like the band's getting back together, bro!"
