"The lives of Tao" - Wesley Chu, READ IT PEOPLE!!!! You will NOT regret it! <3

I've not stumbled upon a book this good in a while now. Time for a little advertisement...

And this is all silberstreif 's doing ;)  I enjoyed so much her squeals about this book that I just had to check it out, because she has an amazing taste when it comes to science fiction.
Before even starting to read, I was a little skeptical, but then I read the first couple of posted chapters on Amazon, that by the time they were finished, the need to read MORE was near overwhelming.

The book was finished in less then three days. I couldn't put it down.

And here is the review:

When out-of-shape IT technician Roen woke up and started hearing voices in his head, he naturally assumed he was losing it.

He wasn’t.

He now has a passenger in his brain - an ancient alien life-form called Tao, whose race crash-landed on Earth before the first fish crawled out of the oceans. Now split into two opposing factions - the peace-loving, but under-represented Prophus, and the savage, powerful Genjix - the aliens have been in a state of civil war for centuries. Both sides are searching for a way off-planet, and the Genjix will sacrifice the entire human race, if that’s what it takes.

Meanwhile, Roen is having to train to be the ultimate secret agent. Like that’s going to end up well…

It will make you laugh to tears, make your heart break and take your breath away. I'm not suited enough to make a good review about this book other then how AMAZING it was.

Here's the link on Amazon:

Give it a try, read the first couple of chapters posted there. If you're a fan of sci-fi and aliens, then this is the book for you.
Read it, you will not regret it. I sure as hell didn't.
