Today
Well today was full of a surprise I NEVER thought would happen. I didn't sleep well at all because tomorrow is the one year anniversary of my sister's death. A death that could have been prevented. But we are not the captains of that ship!
I'm sitting at my desk when who walks into my office? A former high school love that I truly have not seen in over 35 years! Still looks handsome as ever, officer in the Navy, lives in Pensacola. We went to lunch and talked ALOT! Talked about things we never got to talk about years ago. Life, traveling, Europe (which he has been EVERYWHERE), his handicapped son, his wife's MS illness, and just stuff.
Talked a lot about my sister and family. It was if time stood still and had never moved! Great feeling to be able to talk to someone like that and not be judged!
