stream of consciousness
it feels like about a million years since my last entry in September. Since I moved to Tennessee in August I've gone to Austin, New Orleans, Gattlinburg, Denver, Toronto, and to Michigan three times. All the traveling was awesome but also exhausting. Honestly I usually love being at home, but being in a new city was quite challenging. Jake was working like a dog in the three months preceding Christmas and making friends has been harder than I expected. A lot of the traveling was escapist, but I think it's time for that to end. 2013 looks promising so far. Jake is back to a normal schedule and my friend Nick will be staying with us for 2-3 months! I can't wait to have a partner in crime. I'm still teaching an online class and searching for a full-time job. I've had a few interviews in Nashville but nothing has panned out yet. I've now been on the hunt for one full year. I'm so ready to find something.
