Especially when you find pieces of your china pattern. In case you folks weren't aware, for the past 8 years now, I've been slowly but surely collecting pieces of "Countryside", a blue & white pattern made by Wedgwood. The pattern is discontinued, so the pieces are hard to come by, but I keep having them just fall into my lap. So, when I took the younguns shopping at Value World, the last thing I expected to find were pieces of my china pattern. a set for two, in fact (plates, dessert bowls, saucers & cups) for just $4.85 + tax. Now, if you check a china replacement place on line, these pieces are worth:
Dinner Plates - $12.00 x 2 = $24.00
Dessert bowls - $8.00 x 2 = $16.00
Cup & saucer set - $13.00 x 2 = $26.00
Total of $66.00
Savings of $60.86
I love amazing deals......
