Mini-vacation time!
Tomorrow I'm flying to Virginia to visit anann73, who I don't think I've seen in about 7-8 years now. (Has it really been that long, Andi? I think the last time we saw each other in person was when I visited you in SC, and I seem to remember it being within a year of 9/11, because I was a little nervous about flying and frustrated with the new air travel rules.)
Anyway, today has been spent shopping and packing and charging what feels like every electronic doodad I own. (Kindle, netbook, mp3 player, phone, camera batteries... I'm running out of outlets!) I think I've got everything done, which means it's now time for the "omg what super-important thing did I forget?" portion of the evening. The part where I keep going over a mental checklist of everything.
Toiletries: check
Shirts, pants, etc.: check
Underwear (this is important!): check
Camera equipment: check
Kindle, netbook, etc.: check (once they're done charging)
Cat:

Now that packing's done, it's time to go set all the DVRs so I don't miss any shows while I'm gone. (I'm not going to force my reality habit on poor Andi.) And I'm hearing mutterings about going out to dinner, too. I'd better post this and get moving!
