I was clean for 188 days and dirty for 84

I am a WoW addict.

I played for 10 straight weeks last January till March when I got laid-off.
I was thankful for something to occupy my time but when I got a new job I quit the first day.
I was clean for 188 days from March 17 till Sept 22.
I enjoyed my time off, playing softball and doing other things like the sun, cause I had the time.
Then I picked it back up for 84 days.
I don't remember those 84 days, they mesh into a jumble of quests and raids.
Work and playing wow leaves very little time to do anything else, life suffered.
It was not all bad, I saved up a lot of money cause I never went and did anything.
I have been clean for 25 days now.
I enjoy the freedom of time and now I have some money to enjoy it.

World of Warcraft is an addictive product. Somebody should do a study and see if the addictive mental properties of say cocaine are the same as WoW. The problem with WoW is that there is something you can also be doing, that you SHOULD be doing. Its not like other games where you get to run through tasks or levels and then the game ends with a conclusion, there is NO conclusion and that is a whole problem with WoW, it never ends. This of course is by design. It is a subscription service and if you were ever to get to an end then why pay for another month. Blizzard keeps adding and modding the game to keep you hooked, like some fuck drug pimp. That pimp makes it so I never get to see any of my friends who play WOW in Real Life. They are always drugged out in some Zone inside of WoW, doing some quest for loot. It never ends. I want to go back in to "see" them. I must resist.
I bought an xbox 360.
Rock Band Save My Soul!!!
Its a lesser drug, right?

I....MUST....resist.....

hope, addiction, wow
