I am not really too surprised with my results. I have been told that my views do fit the one of a populist or a social democrat, but it is all socialism in its own right. Well, except for extreme Communism, and Anarchism.
I believe in Socialism. I believe in Socialism through the means of elections, and democracy. Electing leaders and changing the economic structure gradually. Communism wants utopia today. They want to take power and make everything perfect ASAP. I know that wont work, and it isnt worth the blood sweat and tears. I believe in Socialism, because it dosent want utopia today, it wants it tomorrow.
I believe in the little man rising up and getting his due, for everyone of every race, ethnicity, and creed to do it together, and be united. There are so many splinters of Socialism but we are actually more united than the 2 major parties. The two major parties want money, and that bothers me. This whole country revolves around money. I dont like it one bit. I think it was because I have had such a problem getting jobs, among the many other situations that I have been in that have made me make a 180 degree turn politically.
I have become increasingly disenfranchised with the capitalist way of thinking. I do not think it is moral or right for people to be ridiculously rich, while others are ridiculously poor. Some say that all men are created equal. I believe it, but I currently dont see it.
I love my country, I always have, and I always will. I am extremely proud of my family members that have served in the military, and I cant thank them enough for risking their lives so that I can have what I do today. I am not jealous of what others have, I believe that they earned it. But, how our governmental economic system works, people get screwed, and that is what bothers me. I want equality. People in this country are not as free as we would like to believe.
I dont know, thats what I want. If I dont get it in my lifetime, I can know that I did try.
