Another Poem

The Mirror

I look in the mirror,
And I can see you.
You're strange and you're beautiful,
But why can't I see me?
Sometimes, you look like me,
You could be my brother.
But if you were my brother,
I would see me when I looked in the mirror.

I look in the mirror,
And I can see you.
We have different habits,
So why can't I see me?
We both display behaviours,
That often look the same.
But if they are the same,
Why can't I see me when I look in the mirror?

I look in the mirror,
And I can see you.
We both have different faces,
So why can I see you?
I smile, and you smile back,
But our shared smile is on two faces.
We don't share a face,
But I still see you when I look in the mirror.

I shatter the mirror,
And I can see you.
You're strange and you're beautiful,
And you're all around me.
I can see you everywhere,
In everything I look at.
And everything I look at,
Holds a reflection of you, like the mirror.

Another weird one, I'll admit, but this time, I know what and who its about, and if you're one of those people in whom I regularly confide, you should understand this poem quite well.
Please, this time, someone comment and tell me what you think.
