I Don't Do Grog! Ok?

Well, hello there. Here I am, two days after seeing Andrew, and I'm quite happy with my life. Seeing him was fun, and meeting his uncle, aunt and little tiny cousin was awsome. On Wednesday we pretty much just hung out for the day with his Aunty and watched the baby do her cute little baby things. On Wednesday night we went out for dinner to a Cambodian place. The food there was really nice, we got a Lemmon Lamb thing, a chicken curry, and some stir fried beef with vegetables.
Thursday was destined to be a very interesting day. Not only was Andrew going to my Nan's place (which was forbidden to him,) I also had a singing lesson and group therapy to go to. This meant time away from Andrew. I didn't know how there would be any way he'd enjoy this, as his best sourse of company would be my brother Eddie, who can be an antisocial little shit at the best of times. I quickly realized though that so could Andrew, and so I didn't feel so worried anymore. Before singing and group though, Nan went to the councel chambers along with all these other old family members, leaving the three of us alone to hang out. My cousin Jess came over during this, and Andrew and I talked with her about her job while poor Eddie tried to watch Wild Hogs. When Nan came back we all sat around for a while before going to KFC for lunch.
After lunch, I went to singing and decided the song I'd be doing next year. I think I'll really enjoy it, despite apparently needing to learn 10 verses or so.
Andrew and I hung out at Nan's place for an hour when I finished my singing lesson, and then I went to group.
Group was difficult, because I had 3 different adults telling me to do 3 different things, and they all appeared to think that they were in control of my life just because they were sighted. Dinner at Dad's place was alright, but as soon as Andrew walked out the door Dad started a fight. I think I dealt with it ok though.

On Friday, we just hung out at Andrew's uncle and Aunty's place again, talking and watching DVD's. It was probably the best day we had, as all Andrew and I really need is each other's company, and we're fine.
On Saturday I went to Andrew's uncle's place again, but I had to be picked up early by Dad, as Andrew and I both had parties to go to. Andrew had his uncle's surprise party, and I had a family Christmas thing at my Aunty's place.
I actually really enjoyed that, despite my cousins all urging me to drink. As you probably all know, I've done grog before. But it is not something that I get into, and drinking is just not all it's cracked up to be, whatever people will tell me, and so, I don't and won't drink, not even at Christmas.
Speaking of Christmas, I don't appear to be getting into the Christmas spirit this year, and it was the same for the past few years. I guess that's what happens when you grow up and learn the truth about Santaclause and whatnot.

My family situation probably hasn't helped things either, and this year will be especially hard for my brother, my sisters and I, as we probably won't even get a call from our mother, who up and left us not too long ago.
But some things you just have to deal with I guess. I'm not unhappy with my life, and I'm thankful for the family that I do have, both foster and blood.
Well, now that there's nothing else to write about...

On the twelfth day of Christmas, pj_blindclown sent to me...

Twelve kolbygarrisons drumming
Eleven sjtaylors piping
Ten camps a-leaping
Nine birds dancing
Eight dogs a-jamming
Seven animals a-singing
Six computers a-reading
Five co-o-o-ountry trips
Four stone
fruits
Three email surveys
Two
school holidays
...and a summer in a imahead.

Funny, I can actually imagine all that, although five trips through the country could get boring, I only get one school holidays (shame,) and a summer in Andrew? ...Let's not go there.
And...

In 2008, pj_blindclown resolves to...
Connect with my inner piano.
Apply for a new snow.
Be nicer to lilrachyface.
Take evening classes in nature.
Give up reading.
Go to music every Sunday.

Well, how cute. Now that I've done those thingies just because everyone else did, I shall post this and go do something else.
