Einstein And Gravity Probe B
Is anyone else excited about this? I think I need to dig back into the stack of Physics books on my bookshelf, the novels will just have to wait. I need to exercise my brain for a while, I feel like it's turning to mush lately.
Eek, sometimes I have so many interests it drives me crazy, there just isn't enough time in a human life to do everything you could possibly want to do. I'm reading The Clock of the Long Now at the moment and it's completely fascinating. How I wish I had the sort of job where you get paid to sit around and think about problems all day long. I think that's why that job at Microsoft is so exciting, I would spend all my time solving problems, my favorite thing to do in the world. I could never understand why people hated word problems so much when I was in school, I love them. What good is math if you can't apply it to the real world?
Heh, those are a few disjointed thoughts that just escaped from my brain, I'll bet this doesn't make much sense outside of my head... Eh, anyway, time to get back to work. I suppose I'm solving a problem of sorts, it's just not terribly compelling right now...
