...and all I can think of is when are we going to see Sylar again.
Seriously, since I watched the season finale, I have been counting down the summer days. All those mondays that I was playing fake poker in Plymouth...making small talk with guys who pretend they know how to play poker.
All the bad reality shows I watched on VH1, as I waited for September 24th.
The days I pretended to be interested by whatever was on Bravo, or another episode of the Closer. But now...the wait is over.
Because Heroes is back with volume two.
I've been very carefull not to read anything about it, because I want to be surprised, and not have it ruined for me like last year when I read the first paragraph of a story in EW.
I'm not sure what I'm more excited about.
I guess to see where they take the story....i mean obviously, but I mean how to move along the characters.
I know we're going to see Veronica Mars in a role where she plays "A mysterious young woman who has a secret agenda"...As you can see they aren't going to stray to far from the formula that's worked so far.
The one thing we do know is that Hiro will be in feudal Japan for at least the first four weeks. And we won't see Sylar or the Brothers Petrelli until at least the half-way part of the season.
And at that point we'll see six new characters and get to vote on them to be apart of season 3.
What Heroes needs to be careful of is sticking to what works. They need to keep up the father/daughter - love/distrust relationship between Claire and Mr. Bennett.
They need to focus on Mohinder and his fascination with the heroes despite not having any powers (or does he?).
They need to make sure Matt plays that fineline between cop and savior....by the book and outside the lines.
And as much as I hate Ali Larter, the character would not be the same if there was no struggle between good mom/bad mom.
We need to find out what are Mama Petrelli's alternate motivations.
I'm pretty stoked about this season premiere...ok really excited. Last year when I watched the pilot I hated it...but there's no way that this premiere doesn't impress.
**Prediction**
By the end of the first episode, we'll meet a new "heroe" but they won't be totally good.
