Overheard yesterday: "Oh, look! Another tree Santa forgot to bring back to the forest!" ~ mother to child, on the extraordinary number of discarded Christmas trees on our block. I'm starting to wonder if lying to our children about Santa isn't indeed a slippery slope, particularly if our liberal guilt now indicts us for the killing of Christmas

I adore Improv Everywhere. I adore them most when they are doing something fun that makes people's days better. Aka, the time they threw a wedding reception for a random city hall marriage couple. Or when they are doing something so bad ass it makes you cringe for their bravery. Like, when they put on a "U2" concert on a rooftop and get arrested for it. If confronted with people removing their pants on the subway, I would feel supremely uncomfortable. I don't know if this is in spite of or because I know what they're doing and why?
Am thoroughly interested by your experiences with Google Reader! At the moment, am still a user of the "open all in tabs" option, but this requires me to separate blogs into different folders by category or face my internet connection's wrath. Keep me posted on your adjustment period.
Very much like the comics of vague literary/historical bent!
I owe you a long tale of misadventure (or hopefully, just adventure) re: life and work and school. Forthcoming!
