long time no see!

Hi guys! Sorry for not posting in such a long time. I have loads of things to talk about now ^_^

Firstly, to anyone still waiting on La Mort d'Arthur; I AM working on it. I had a last-minute change-of-mind about the plot and the rewrite is taking a long time. I've had to add and amend a lot of scenes; the final chapter now stands at 18,000 words (!). I'm thinking of cutting it up, a) so that people don't have an aneurysm reading it and b) so that I can post it faster. We'll see!

Secondly, I have been marathoning Glee, and let's just say, it's no wonder that 10 million people watch it! I do get a bit annoyed when everyone says "Rachel is the best, we need her" every other episode; because as far as I can tell everyone's all equally talented, but whatever. Also, Matthew Morisson dancing and singing is SO HOT. I have never, NEVER literally squeed over anyone on-screen (except James McAvoy) but for Will Schuester I made an exception. That man can DANCE. This show ticks so many boxes for me, two of which are "KRISTEN CHENOWETH" and "WICKED".

In real-life news, I have now got a new phone, an LG Pop. Anyone who knows me knows that I have an unhealthy obssession with LG -- always have, since that GCSE Geography class where we watched a video about them. Anyway, back to the point: the phone is *awesome*. I especially love texting with it now (unlimited texts a month, mwahahaha) since it has a little touch-keyboard. I can't wait to play around with it some more. It also takes great pictures despite having only an 3 megapixel camera.

We also got a wide-screen TV (finally!) and our HD box arrived today. You can't always tell the difference, except in these few shots where you can practically see every tree, blade of grass, and strand of hair on someone's head. Also, it does seem that, however far away, faces stay perfectly in focus. It's kind of boggling! I can't wait to watch some of my favourite TV shows in HD once all the channels switch to HD this year.

This bit is just to alleviate my "this person looks familiar!" itch that I get every time I see... well, people who look familiar. Exhibit A:

Finn from Glee and Matt Parkman from Heroes (bad at names, ok? xD). Finn's face bugged me SO much, it just kept reminding me of someone else, and then I remembered. So, tell me if you see it too? I think it's the eyes, personally.

Doutzen Kroes w/fringe and Gemma Arterton. I basically leapt on this one as soon as I saw Doutzen's picture. Every time I see Doutzen with that fringe, my mind just screams "GEMMA" xD

Speaking of Doutzen: for anyone who doesn't know who she is, she is currently the no.5 highest-paid model in the world, and the most gorgeous woman EVER. (Sorry Katie. You're beautiful too of course!) Not only does she have an amazing face, hair, profile and body (Victoria's Secret Angel!), her voice is to DIE for. So soft. And her accent's so cute!

She does work for L'Oreal and Victoria's Secret at the moment. She has had a fair few magazine covers/editorials and used to do high fashion once (she used to be Valentino's muse!).

Snow report: still cold but snow's melting a little. I have a few pics from before that I might post soon. I lol'd at the fact that the BBC made a "Snow Watch" program to go with "Springwatch" and "Autumnwatch" though xD

Also, I was ill two days ago but I'm feeling ok now. I managed to get through a big chunk of "Wolf Hall" as I was recovering. That book is so confusing, I wish the author had stuck with "Cromwell" instead of saying "he" whenever he speaks. 90% of the time you can't tell who's speaking xD

Okay, long post is long now.
