Ohno is a guy
Haha, so basically today I went out with my parents. We were at a mall, and this DVD shop was having like a sale and there was this section with a whole bunch of Japanese drama DVDs. Gosh, I was tempted to just buy every single one, but the money I have been spending on magazines recently? It hasn't been replenished yet >_< lol. But what I did buy was none other than... MAOU ♥
Of course I've already seen it a million times, but it was ridiculously cheap and now I can watch it another million more times :D
Also, you know how Maou is a remake of the Korean version? Well my mom watched the Korean version, and since I failed in convincing her that Hanadan is better than Boys Over Flowers, I've taken it upon myself to allow her to understand that Maou is better than the Korean version (which I haven't actually watched... XD lol) But I mean Ohno with Maou hair plus Toma PLUS hearing Truth in the beginning and in the background? Psh, it's a hands down win in my opinion :P
So anyway, a few days ago already when I was looking through an issue of Duet, my mom looked at the cover and was like, "Are they all guys?" and when I told her yes, very much all guys, she gave me the face like "really??"
And today when I was pointing out to her the Maou dvd and saying that this was the one I was telling her about before, this was the conversation:
Mum: Oh so which one's the lawyer and which one's the detective? And are you sure this one has subtitles?
Me: *points at Ohno* This one's the lawyer, *points at Toma* and this one's the detective. Yes there are English subtitles *starts turning the dvd around*
Mum: Wait... *turns dvd back around* Is the lawyer a guy?
Me: *thinks Oh Riidaa* YES, it's a guy
Mum: *doubtful look on her face*
And there we have it; the introduction of the world of pretty guys to my mum XD
And when I was showing her Toma on Hana Kimi dvd and saying it was the same guy as on the Maou dvd and Shun on the Hanadan dvd was the same guy as the one on Hana Kimi dvd, she looked at the covers for quite some time LOL
And OMG, I know it's random and late, but I suddenly wanted to buy the Death Note movies on dvd, all 3 of them; NO SUCH LUCK
All that's left is like Blu-Ray. And it isn't really that it's an old movie, cause there are some OLD dvds still being sold, I think it was too popular.
And I've been wanting to find the special features of the movies, it's like impossible
Or I just suck at looking (which is actually very very likely)
And now I'll be off to bawl my eyes out watching Maou again :P
