Excellent icons as per usual. Great colouring esp on #18. I haven't quite worked out how you get that effect. Have you done a tutorial on how to do that?

Thank you! Crap I really need to get that tutorial done *headdesk* If I haven't done it by Christmas you have my permission to shoot me. Or torture me with bamboo Sayid-style until I do it *doh*

It's okay, no hurry. I'm just curious cos I've tried so many ways and I can't get my icons to looks soft with vivid colour like yours.

The basic thing I do to get that is, after doing my sort of...regular colouring, if the base is a bit sharp just duplicate it then do an edge preserving smooth thing on it just on the 1 setting and lower the opacity until it's not too soft/too sharp. Then add a new layer and fill it with a light grey colour, set to hard light and put the opacity quite low then add a saturation layer on top (around 20ish opacity) and it really brings out the colour.

Wow that sounds so simple compared to what I was trying to do. I was going into colour balance and things to try and get the colour really bright. Thanks for that Laura, I'll have to give it a go when I get the chance. :D

No probs! I don't even know what colour balance does haha. And don't get me started on curves, that confuses the hell out of me o_0
