Valley of the Sun
So after playing a trucker for 3 days last week I finally made the move to Phoenix. I don't think I had that much junk, but with all the ragtag furniture that has been given to me by my relatives the truck became packed. They're only slightly annoying to me because none of them match. Made a trip out to Ikea and the usual. So for the past couple of days I had been assembling things like crazy. I've had to buy all new fridge, washer, dryer, bedroom set, and bed. I don't even want to know the total I spent buying all of that in one week.
The neighborhood that I moved into is super friendly. I haven't been to a friendly suburbs like this ever. Everyone wants to talk and everyone has kids. I'm just so used to the Northeast mentality now that I don't even want to bs with the neighbors for longer than 5 minutes. The weather is ok here, as long as you're not moving furniture or appliances. Thank goodness for air conditioning!
