Christmas and Movies

Dec 15, 2010 16:10

Firstly, Christmas cards have been finished and sent out.  I can't be sure when they will arrive, but they are on their way.  I'm surprised I had such an easy time at the post office.  There was a line, but it moved along quickly, and aside from this lady who cut in front of me, insisting she had only stepped away for a second, it was relatively unpainful.

Second, I finally saw Tangled.  *dances*  I gotta say, I had been waiting to see this movie for the longest time, so I was expecting to be blown away by it.  Now, I'm not saying I wasn't, because I absolutely loved this movie.  It's just that, I don't know, it took a little bit for me to get into the movie.  Or, maybe it was more the fact that I didn't really care for Mother Gothel or the characters from The Snuggly Duckling tavern.  And some of the music, eh, it was okay.  But over all I really did enjoy the movie.  Rapunzel was fun, and I kept having Ariel flashbacks (anyone else?), Flynn was pretty cool, and I want a Pascal.  I'm assuming that everyone has seen this movie, but I don't think this will be too spoilery, but did anyone else cry when the King cried before he and the Queen released the lanterns?  Because I just about bawled like a baby.  And the song, I See the Light?  Love it.  Who knew Zachary Levi could sing?

Later tonight I'm getting together with friends so we can celebrate our Christmas.
Hope you all are having a great day.

Oooh, and look at that, a post that has nothing to do with books!  XD
