Haunted Night

Happy Halloween!
I hope you all are having an excitingly spooky one.  Myself?  I'm currently sitting in the kitchen of my Grandma's house watching tv, alone, aside from my Aunt DeeDee's dogs, Mimi and Chiquita.  I had the option of going to a family dinner, but didn't really feel in the mood.  I've had a busy weekend and need some time to myself.  So far there have been no trick-or-treaters in the neighborhood, so I have a feeling we'll be keeping our two bags of snickers candy.  Yum.  Not that I really need any, lol.

Friday and Saturday I've worked casino parties for the company my Uncle Fred owns.  Friday night's event was at a sports bar, and for the first hour I stood at my roulette table and did absolutely nothing.  It was a school fundraiser, and eventually the parents started to play.  I had a pretty good table, a nice couple and this one father who I got along with really well.  He told me about his two sons and was amused to find that I had a lot in common with them (apparenly they love Family Guy, Robot Chicken and Star Wars as much as I do).  "Man, my boys would LOVE you!" he kept telling me.  Too bad his sons are twelve and ten and not older, because I'm sure I would have loved them too, XD.  Saturday's party was James Bond themed, and at this AMAZING Tudor mansion.  If only it wasn't a private party and I wouldn't have gotten in trouble I would have taken a million pictures.  It was gorgeous!  I didn't want to leave.  The crowd itself wasn't too bad, although I had one woman at my table who was driving me up the wall.  It may sound terrble, but I really wanted her to lose so she would leave...only she kept winning!  *pulls out hair*  Needless to say, the night was frustrating.

Speaking of work, I have an interview tomorrow at Borders.  I'm a little nervous, but am confident that I'll have a good interview and am crossing my fingers that I get hired.  It's only a seasonal position for the holidays, but they are looking to keep a few people.  If hired, I know I would do an amazing job, but I don't want to get my hopes up for anything until after I get the job.  If I get it.

And now, it's back to watching Ghost Hunters, debating if I want to order pizza, and possibly reading.  Night everyone!

Oooh, and one last things: anyone out there have Skype?  I just signed up for it and an excited to start using it.

work: casino, holiday: halloween, work: interview
