I guess the question is what you'd like to do, coupled with what you feel your personal boundaries are and what you are comfortable with. Do keep in mind that there isn't much of a market for pin-up/"gravure" markets stateside. I would imagine your intended audience would come in to play as well. I'd suggest you ask your photographer but you mentioned you do your own shooting so that defeats that purpose.

So, if I weren't going to be a creepy stalker-fan guy and say "go all the way!" I'd suggest you consider what you want to shoot and compare it with what you think will sell and/or get you discovered as it were.

So mainly what I'm comfortable with, right?

:/ Agh. I know what I think is awesome! And stuff but I don't want to "get in trouble"..

And I don't really know what would help me get discovered or sell..

Who do you think you would "get in trouble" with?

And who are you going to show or share these pictures with?

Well, online. Public. If I show it to even someone on AIM it could be leaked anyway.

NSFW

This is labeled gravure on tumblr. I have a pic similar to it but in seifuku/undies. I think...it's TOO gravure...but it's really hot. :/

See now I'm torn, because I would kill to see what you're talking about (and it's a shame we only know each other through LJ...) but on the other hand I understand exactly what your concern is.

But do keep in mind that any model, amateur or professional, is liable to have backlash for just about anything about them put out there.

True...and I've already had backlash about shit. Though most of the reception for my Tifa's Scandal pic was good.

So I don't know. :/ I could give a shit less what most people say, it's just...family or work.

EHEHHHH..I dunno. Nothing is nudity, but the poses are bad, like that pic..like..too MUCh leg spread/pantie.

I understand your concern, and I suppose given the situation it'd be best if they weren't put out quite yet. Confound it.

Do you use messenger by any chance? If so, if you wouldn't mind talking about this further, you can reach me by Y!IM or AIM or even MSN.
