This stuff is scary/silly.

Right in time for Halloween! :P

(BTW, I am definitely alive. I don't know where the rumor started that I died. Come on, people, I'm a strong fighter!)

(Note: No offense should be taken, this is just an interesting subject I came across and my thoughts on it!)

Just some interesting videos, along with my thoughts/ramblings about them. A friend showed me this one:

About two Japanese serial killers...

It's pretty scary, watch it. It regards a serial killer in Tokyo, Japan who is running loose on the streets still. He's mainly in the red light district, so if you stay in the safe parts of Tokyo and take precautions, it's OK, but still risky!

Of course, when I go to Japan I will have someone with me, it's a bit scary on your own, right? Especially for a foreigner/gaijin.

Though, in the video, some of the women are working in less-than-reputable places. Still, it's a heads up for anyone in Tokyo. Don't take it too serious..there are serial killers and murderers EVERYWHERE around the globe.

And interestingly, I looked on Wikipedia and the U.S.A. has a lot more logged entries of serial killers. Does that mean we have more serial killers? I live here and was born here, that really makes me feel iffy. :/ Link~ and Link! Who knows how accurate the info is, but yeah!

Either way, as many of you know, I want to visit Japan and perhaps one day live there. However, I would not want to live in Tokyo. I'd probably want to live outside a bigger city (Kyoto, Hiroshima, Okinawa, etc..) but not inside. Still, I'd of course want to visit Tokyo, who wouldn't?

I think it's just odd that he's still safe because he has a rich family. :/

Another video:

I think this video is silly...

One thing I've always dreamed of doing is visiting an onsen (Japanese hot spring/spa) and a public bathhouse. With a group of friends, it seems very fun!

This video makes them seem uninviting in my opinion O_o; Dying from baths? I take baths all the time in the US, in fact I prefer them over showers. They are NOT unsanitary. And I'm sure if you don't frequent onsens/public baths ALL THE TIME then it's not a risk. It says it's mainly a risk in the elderly, but still. They question how sanitary it is, but it IS very clean, that's why people clean off BEFORE getting in the tub. (And anything can be "unclean" if you look hard enough, even our baths/showers in USA.) Things such as that. And I've never heard of the tradition being linked to becoming tako, or octopus. Though that is sort-of like the color you get when you take a hot soak.

Anyway what a silly video that's a bit biased. :) I can't wait to go to an Onsen when I visit Japan one day.
