Annual New Years Survey
1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before? TAed a class, moved in my apartment, made my own major, camp, went to gay bars, used a fake id, Interned, got a pedicure, had a "coming of age" in the DPA.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I dont remember what it was...one was to lose weight-which i didnt. BUT this year I REALLY REALLY want to keep my resolutions... which I will post in a bit
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Alex-the lady I babysit for...which is kinda close, mostly cause I watched Christopher while she had the baby-LOL!
4. Did anyone close to you die? My uncle Brian, Foulkner, A couple people but no one SUPER close to me.
5. What countries did you visit? None-I NEED TO LEAVE THE CONTINENT SOON!
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005? A sex life, romance, dates... YEAH-Those are the big ones. Mainly a relationship. And a year without a huge family drama would be nice, but is highly unlikely.
7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? April 15 was Relay for Life weekend... and it was a big weekend for me as it was the start of my SUPER busy multitasking and my OMG-I-must-not-totally-suck-at-theatreNESS. Also the first day of this semester with the RIDICULOUSNESS that it was.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Finding my self-confidence and changing my prespective... all my shows and internships and jobs and TAing and apartments and mostly managing it all and coming out with everything going REALLY well for me.
9. What was your biggest failure? My dad-I just dont know how to help him and cant find the strength to do what needs to be done. Mostly maintaining my relationships from home...with my family, etc.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? I was sick a lot but nothing big... a lot of like colds and stuff. Prolly all those germy lil kids...
11. What was the best thing you bought? My zone 3 parking pass...
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? GHM(atleast to me), Anne, Catherine, Brian, A lot of people...and yet so few...
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? My dad, My family in general and some unnamed friends who lied to me
14. Where did most of your money go? Gas and my car, BILLS... BILLS...BILLS. Living in DC aint cheap. FOOD too!
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? My parts in shows, my new major, my internships, OVERCOMING MY FEAR IN SCENE INTO SONG! Camp, feeling I deserved the praise I was getting. Pretty much EVERYTHING-I kept a good attitude... I am proud of me-YAY!
16. What song will always remind you of 2005? The Debbie Downer sound but thats not a song... ummm anything from any of the shows, and definately definately Bananaphone!!! I can do better then that from the last 5 years...
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
I. happier or sadder? MUCH MUCH HAPPIER
II. thinner or fatter? Fatter or the same... I need to stop eating.
III. richer or poorer? I think slightly richer as my eye doctors appointment s robbed me blind last year(almost literally...)
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Performing...and I dont know how I could have but I wish I had, auditioning, dating, living, loving, smiling.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Sleeping(I wish i didnt have to sleep), being depressed, letting other people affect me especially their negative energy)
20. How will you be spending Christmas? Well I spent it in the usual fashion.
Eve of Christmas Eve-Drunk @ Rita's house with her neighbors then I woke up at noon and came home to go to mass with my mom, charlie and kelly... my mom did her annual shocked routine that we couldnt get a seat because it was so crowded even though we didnt even get to mass 5 minutes early... THEN its Charlie's family for the 7 fishes which I sneak out of early to go to Peggys where MK and Becca sleepover and I stayed as late as possible before coming home to drunkingly exchange presents with my brothers... then its christmas morning stockings, brunch and santa gifts at my house(the only time of the year we can sit on the living room couch) then off to Peggy's for Pollyanna and lighting the menorah!

22. Did you fall in love in 2005? Not with a person, but to be corny as hell-I fell even more in love with performing!
23. How many one-night stands? HmMmMm i guess you could say 2 with Mike-if he counts...but i dont know if he does...

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Hate is too strong a word...but I feel very differently about a few people.
26. What was the best book you read? The secret life of bees or hunger for freedom.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Idina Menzel's CD Still I cant be Still and that I can actually sing and SOMETIMES even act while I sing...
28. What did you want and get? Some good friends, My apartment, my car, my freedom, parts in shows, my jobs and internships... and most importantly respect and self confidence...

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I was 20 and I dont really remember...so it was prolly real exciting. ACTUALLY I have by far the LAMEST birthdays ever because they are over spring break... I NEED A GOOD BIRTHDAY THIS YEAR!
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? If my family would listen to me... mainly my parents.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005? These are my breasts...You will be seeing a lot of them. I played up the cleavage a lot.
34. What kept you sane? Catherine, Singing, Theatre, camp, all my gay men and the weird fun nights where I destressed.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Anthony Rapp-I just think he is SO super fabulous and cant wait for his book to come out!
36. What political issue stirred you the most? Student loan stuff, Gay Marriage and chruch politics.
37. Who did you miss? Catherine over the summer, Mariel and Brian after camp, My family while at school(mainly Boo, MK and Jenny), Pretty much the people I love when when they werent there.
38. Who was the best new person that you met? TOUGH QUESTION: Its a toss-up between Mariel, Brian or Robert... OoOo or some of my favorite freshmen or my new sitting family... I DUNNO I LIKE NEW PEOPLE!

1.You can have it all-you just cant sleep...
2.You can do anything you put your mind too.
3.I'm my own worst enemy.
4.And an oldie but still my fave- Everything happens for a reason.
