I think one key thing in dating is that if the ball is in the other's persons court(i.e. they said they'd call you on x day etc.) then don't think about them-that way if they call yo-you haven't been obsessing about them and you fresh-if they don't call you don't even realize it because you weren't thinking about them.

It's not a question of what's successful. It's just that not-busy men like Prince's character in Under The Cherry Moon, or like that nasty dude that drinks whisky on the corner by my house, have plenty of time to like, scope out the flyest babe in the region and like try to romance her socks off. But busy men like me and Bill Clinton only have time for the babes who are shipped to us in vacuum sealed packages. The best is when you are the Howard Hughes in his 40s and you have hotels pre-packaged with girls like so many peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Of course if you are me you just have the girls strategically placed for some nice conversation between meetings because you cannot afford to kiss girls except on new years eve.
