Wow it's been forever

Here I am again.. I just happened to find a poem I wrote I don't know how long ago.

Myself:

Once in a lifetime
once in a day dream
once upon a time
I found myself
for one moment
I knew

Like a mirror
I saw myself
reflected back at me
no hazy ideal
no dreamlike fantasy
just me

Unable to turn away
I stared in disbelief
I knew all the things
I did not want to know
all I am was there
plain for me to see

All at once
to my surprise
the image began to fade
to be replaced
faded and hazy, somehow unreal
like a daydream memory

Once in a lifetime
once in a day dream
once upon a time
