2007: Year in Pixfic
Okay, so I did it. It took forever, but I couldn't write anymore tonight and I was determined not to dick around with that fucking Cake Mania anymore. *grumble* I was surprised that it wasn't more, but my wordcount for 2007 was 238,690 (fanfic) and 121,000 (original) bringing the grand total to 359,690. Next year that figure will be reversed, since I have a real novel to write, but I don't mind saying that I still have several fanfics on the menu. :D
I added a few comments here and there, just in the interests of offering my thoughts on the fics I wrote this year. I don't expect anyone to give a rat's butt, but at least I'm posting a handy-dandy link list for all the junk I wrote. *again with the humanitarian*

Writing this fic was a great way for me to experiment because I can't understand something until I can make it work inside my head. I'm not sure if I actually managed to accomplish that, but I did like writing this story quite a bit. Tezuka/Fuji is a dreamy, confusing sort of pairing and, when it's done right, I can admit to seeing the lure.
And what's really great is that I still managed to make lots of headway in the next chapter of Cables. It's going to be a long chapter, I fear. I may have to split it up into two chapters.

Notes: Definitely a first. While I can appreciate the beauty of Tezuka/Fuji, I don't get the dynamic. Writing this fic was a great way for me to experiment because I can't understand something until I can make it work inside my head. I'm not sure if I actually managed to accomplish that, but I did like writing this story quite a bit. Tezuka/Fuji is a dreamy, confusing sort of pairing and, when it's done right, I can admit to seeing the lure.
And what's really great is that I still managed to make lots of headway in the next chapter of Cables. It's going to be a long chapter, I fear. I may have to split it up into two chapters.
