1. Akaya is such a kid.
His eyes were shining and he wondered if now would be a good time to tell Yanagi that he liked him. Liked him enough to let him have the Player One controller and enough to share his favorite dessert. Enough to give him his last stack of arcade tickets and enough to want to touch him again.

2. His logic is impressive too.
"But, senpai. Starbucks is a coffee shop."

3. There are ways to write Yanakiri: A Renji who just can't take his hands off Akaya, the other way around, and this: not too borderline, but still sweet and intent. It's a calculating Renji, but still don't know if in practice things will go smoothly, and there are risks not accounted, like that morning erection fairy.

4. And God, you give Renji a sexy allure that just make me ask for more.

Now I'm gonna get some coffee, thank you very much.

I think, certainly, that Kirihara would be much more grabby as he gets older. In canon timeline, though, he'd be a dumb kid.
