inspired by this series of paintings by one of my favorite artists, tara mcphereson. i find her work very inspiring in the fact that she obviously paints for herself and doesn't seem to be trying to impress anyone, and in doing so, her work is FUCKING FANTASTIC. she also paints dispondent looking naked women way better than i ever will, and for that she gets mad props from me, in mixt form.
i made this mix pretty much entirely for myself with the expectations that its likely going to confuse or scare most people. usually i try to "be nice" and it just doesnt seem as genuine..... so i decided to make a mix totally for myself, not to impress friends or promoters, and i think the final result is awesome. there's a couple mixes that are a little wonky but whatever, it's all live and YOU SHOULD PROBABLY TURN IT UP.

also the new name MODEMGIRL or m0d3mgrrrrr1 is tribute to the nerdy boys and girls who used to hook up with modemgirls and boys on the old bbs's. RESPEK TO DA MODEMGRRRLZ
