Good morning good morning! Its a lovely Tuesday morning. The sun is coming in the window so bright it woke me up. It beaming straight on my pillow. Somehow, I dont mind being woken up a bit early if its by a bright spring sun. I dont have lab until 10 this morning, its awesome. A little taste of next year.
Yesterday was nowhere close to as productive as it should have been. Ended up talking to someone for a long time online instead of going to the library. After that Lauren and I headed over to West Village to order BHOP, pretend to study and watch UConn kill Geaorgia Tech. Go UConn! It was awesome.
Came home around midnight, unfortunately smelling like smoke. -hack, cough- Alli came over and made soup for James. We all chilled, like every night. Im going to miss that sooo much this summer. Coming home to Lauren, Alli and James every night. I love them.
I actually had that sort of dream about next year last night. I came in from class late on some random weekday. Alli and Liz were in the kitchen bickering about whatever they were making. We had all our aloha stuff up around the common room, courtesy of Lauren. I turn left and go into my room to toss my stuff on my bed, Lauren sitting there on her computer trying to get some work done. Something beeps out in the kitchen. I go out to help make dinner. Apparently the guys are coming over for dinner later. The news is on the TV in the living room. It was a pleasant dream. Next year is gonna be awesome.
This summer if gonna be a blast too. So many plans already. As far as Im concerned the summer starts at noon on April 23rd. Its this early on and I already have so much stuff set up. UConn trips, DMB, Aerosmith, Freedom Concert, 6 Flags, perhaps Tim McGraw, road trips to VT, trips to Maine, constant runs to the beach, tons of visitors. Its going to be an amazing summer. All I need to do is get through the next 17 days and Im golden, literally. I think I can make one last push.
Welll everyone enjoy the sunshine. Perhaps spring has finally decided to grace us with is presence. I hope the weather stays as such. Its lovely. The suns really putting me in a great mood. See you all later!!!
*Karen shes a silver sun. You best walk her way and watch her shinin. Watch her watch the morning come. A silver tear appearing now. Im cryin, aint I, Im gone to Carolina in my mind. There aint no doubt in no ones mind that loves the finest thing around. Whisper something soft and kind. And hey babe the skys on fire. Im dyin, aint I, Im gone to Carolina in my mind. Dark and silent late last night I think I might have heard the highway callin. Geese in flight and dogs that bite. Signs that might be omens say Im going, going. Im gone to Carolina in my mind. With a holy host of others standing around me still Im on the dark side of the moon. And it seems like it goes on like this forever. You must forgive me if Im up and goin to Carolina in my mind. In my mind Im goin to Carolina. Cant you see the sunshine, cant you just feel the moonshine. Aint it just like a friend of mine to hit me from behind. Yes Im gone to Carolina in my mind. Gone, Im gone.*
