My interest in all things Potter has been flagging for a long time, so I decided to take the 85 weeks of inactivity on my LJ as a sign. Since the series ended this summer, it seems to be a great time to change this journal to reflect more of what I'm doing in my spare time these days. The odd Potter ficlet or smutlet could still pop up from time to time, but I don't expect to finish any previous fics or do anymore Potter AMVs.
The new journal title is taken from the title of KinKi Kids' debut song back in 1997. The English translation of the song is Glass Boy, but the same words also mean Glass Boys--which fits pretty well for a journal that will probably feature a number of male Jpop idols and actors among its reviews.
I just got home from three weeks of business back in Arkansas. While gone my birthday presents from my folks were shipped by Yes Asia, so I'm enjoying them a month after the date. LOL
I got the Special Love edition of KinKi Kids' Phi CD with the extra DVD of their 10 year anniversary concert from this July. The performance was great, and I'm still digging on the new music. My favorite songs from Phi are:

BRAND NEW SONG and Eien ni are a bit weaker to me despite being the actual singles from the album, though I enjoyed the most recent performances of Eien ni more than the initial ones. It feels like poor Koichi is being forced to sing at the edge of his range on that song, but he at least he sounded less strained at Year's Best.
I also finally laid my hands on Tsuyoshi's photobook from last year--Shojiki I Love You. Mom wasn't sure if Yes Asia would be able to track it down, and it's the reason why the order didn't even ship until nearly 2 weeks after my birthday. It's worth the extra wait! The format is adorable, and it's full of luverly, luverly pics. If I can find a way to scan it without damaging the binding, there are a couple of photos that I really want for a wallpaper. Yeah, Tsuyoshi is easily my favorite musician/actor/idol.
Next time I'm going to start posting reviews, pictures, and summaries for some Jdramas.... including ones that are not subbed, older, and not as easy to find information on. Or I might finally give Alli that partial review of Arashi's Nipple Fetishes. ~.^;
