i kid you not when i say i was devastated when tom brokaw retired. devastated. i'm not really over it yet but i'm working on it. i wish i hadn't taken government class, because if i hadn't, i wouldn't have started watching the news so often and then i wouldn't have fallen in love with tom brokaw. God help me, but the way he does the nightly news is so sexy.
you probably think im kidding. well i'm not.
senior one acts went so amazingly well. i mean AWESOME. sold out all three nights. stage managing was great and mere mortals.....wow. just wow. im so proud of the boys and niki. and im especially thankful for my fruit basket complete with jello. <3
you can never know when you will say something that might come back to haunt you. for me, these words were usually not of my own device. but there are several lines that i have said in plays over the years that i must have...immortalized in a sense. it is just so funny to hear people say your lines back to you. lets go over the classics:
"God bless the king!"
"frightfully ripping!"
"I'll cut off your anthropological balls"
"Now place the lemon between your buttocks and squeeze"
There are also several movements I do that people will repeat back at me. Some are from plays but mostly they stem from me. If you don't know this, you should. Twittering? Yeah I've seen you guys doing it. Don't think I didn't notice. Of course, there is Acosta who doesn't even pretend to not be obsessed with this/everything about me. But i love her massive amounts so its cool.
i swear half the time I really do not know what we're talking about. so here:
"oh i get it. you guys are one of those couples who's always a couple even when you're not being a couple."

so i have a friend named alex. shes really really cool. she pretty much knows that though. i try not to inflate her ego too much so i don't tell her how awesome she is every day. just every other day. i also have a friend named niki. she eats all my food though so shes not that awesome. because when it comes to friends or food, food wins. every time. i'd tell you about my other friends but i don't have any.
sometimes you gotta brush your shoulder off and keep jamming to the beat.
"what would erik estrada do? he'd step up his game."
