New York, is it really the New York?
The last few days have had me contemplating a move to New York- I'm not sure how sustainable craigslist hustles are, though, which means...well I don't know what the fuck it means, finding an American husband? I talked to somebody who spent a few years in New York today and he told me not to do it --that I would succumb to lonlieness and then alcoholism-- I gather he doesn't know me too well. I'm going to talk to Torquil about it tomorrow, though I know he also became a lonely wreck in New York, but he was the only one in my group of family and friends who actually supported me moving to Toronto, so I feel like I can trust him for real advice. If I'm going to do it, I have to go in the next week, before I move into a giant house of lovers and painters.
