a question & some back to school crafts...
first things first....
anjolie has, in the past, has been pretty rough with some of our dvds (say you doze off on the couch for 5 minutes & wake to the sound of *scratch scratch scratch* of her skating across the linoleum on them. meep.). most are just superficial scratches, but they are enough to anger some of the dvd players around our house/car. does anyone know of any of those cd/dvd refinishers that actually works? i am short on money & not wanting to spend a ton on things that don't work. also, has anyone tried those covers that you can still play the disk with it on? might be the best bet for protecting future disks.
secondly, i just got an email from the martha stewart site & there were some really cute "back to school" craft ideas... but they seemed adaptable for us big kids as well. a lot of them are fairly traditional, but i'm feeing inspired now hehe.
roll up pencil kit. (would also be good for makeup brushes!)
cute printable labels for notebooks & such.
printable lunch labels.
updates on the classic brown bag book cover.
recycled desk organizers.
