Since last I wrote
Life's been busy. Again. Still. Whichever.
Oh, and it's summer here, in The South. Which means it's gotten hot and muggy and I am once again hiding in my central-air equipped apartment. Twice weekly three at a time allergy shots are helping, but it'll be years before I'm anywhere close to "cured."
So, what's been going on over thisaway?
-Crazybusy work.
-I am addicted to No Reservations. Dunno why, but I am.
-I'm back to cross-stitching. Mystery project for a group of people most dear to me.
-Other mystery knitting project. Not sure how reay I am to own up to it yet. (If you know? Say nothing.)
-New favorite nighttime snack: broiled broccoli with olive oil, mixed pepper, kosher salt and garlic. And parmisan.
-Or frozen corn, nuked to edible, with butter, mixed salt, and parmisan.
-Helvetica remains adorable.
-Sock monkeys are awesome. I have a new resident one, named Sally. She's cute, and was made by a friend in Florida just for me. Made of argyle knee-high socks.
I'm going to be traveling a lot this week. Saturday post-work I am escaping to Alabama. Then briefly back to Knoxville for an evening of therapeutic riding volunteer time, then work Wednesday. Thursday I run away to Asheville for crazy knitterly awesomeness.
That's right. One day of work next week.
Can't wait.
