Perfect
Don't know about the rest of you guys, but the weather here today was ideal. Perfect fall weather, gorgeous leaves on the trees, ideal for t-shirts and jeans and going for horseback rides. It's just cool enough after sundown for a jacket.
Speaking of riding...I'm now riding every Sunday. Specifically one mare, a Missouri Foxtrotter with a 'tude named Summer. Today she puffed herself up something impressive, aided by her winter coat coming in. I had to abandon hope for the smaller english riding saddle I'd wanted to try and swap over to the dressage one instead; I know how that one fits her, so it takes far less effort and fussing with.
One of the other girls was there to ride as well- we hit it off, and she was a huge help. She's been riding at the barn for months now, and is familiar with Summer and her various tricks that I'm yet to learn. Such as jumping the ground poles at anything faster than a slow walk. I'm hoping to get into the habit of riding with her a few times a month, the company was nice to have.
And now, a shower and then dinner and Bones with some friends.
I love fall.
