IRAQ

Now I don't believe I have shared my thoughts on the situation in with the Iraqi prison photos. Well here they are....I personally believe that these soldiers were abusing their power and trying to get those who were not necessarily going to do them any harm to give them information. I don't think that every Iraqi prisoner had information about Sadam Hussein or future military plans, they were just defedning what they thought was right. The way that these American soldiers treated the prisoners was degrading, sick, and perverted. They treated them the way that the Japanese treated the Navajo code talkers in WWII. It didn't matter who it was, if you looked the part you must know the information, which is not true.

I believe that these soldiers abused their power and treated the prisoners like dogs. I do not, however, condone the fact that Al Queda then cut the head off of an American soldier, that was just twisted and sick. Americans did lower themselves to the level of the Al Queda by torturing and humiliating their own prisoners. What America has done so far under President Bush, ok..I can accept that, but the fact that Bush really makes no stance against any of the wrong doing in Iraq is appalling. I mean, he said that Ol' Rummy was doing a "superb job" and in the words of Jon Stewart, "What would be an un-superb job?"

It also amazes me that there have been more American and Iraqi killings and fighting since the end of "major combat" in Iraq. Ugh, I don't know if we're going to be the best country under Bush this coming four years, but I do know that in my personal view we are going to be better off with Bush as President than with John Kerry, who destroyed all his Vietnam metals and ribbons, opposed the war, and made a speech telling the veterans that they should be ashamed of themselves and deserved to be in POW camps, sorry but that is not going to be my President.

That's what I have to say on that and if anyone has something to add or to say, now's the freakin' time. I am riled up and ready to go.
