Happy belated birthday to lexzilla! Thanks for all of the wonderful fic recs! I've discovered so many stories that I love through you and I'm thankful that you put in the time to offer them to fellow fans. I hope you're enjoying your time off and had a great birthday!
In other news - bed bugs at the London hotel where we made a reservation. Curses! The intrepid latech is on the hunt for a suitable replacement but I have to admit I'm a little bummed out. I fully expect that we'll get something awesome though, so that'll turn this frown upside down!
If anyone has any advice on where to stay, what to see and what not to do in London or Paris in November, let me know. It's my first trip over there and I want to pack in as much as possible without feeling like I'm overwhelmed. Is that even possible? Anyway, I want to give it a shot.
I'm also a little stressed because my mom has decided to move down to Dallas because she misses having me around. It'll be nice to have her around, but the two of us in a stressful situation has never been a good thing, so I anticipate some major drama coming my way. The plan is to fly up to Seattle at Christmas and then drive down to Dallas over the next couple of days. More on this as we get closer to the date, I'm sure. Let's hope this is a nice, mild winter!
