Day 16 - A song that you want to play at your wedding
Well, considering I've been married now for almost 9 years and had a wedding already, I can't really answer this question. What I can tell you is the song I wanted played at my wedding from the time I was 14 when I first heard it on my sister's "tape" (lol wow I am old). I kept my promise to myself and did have it played while my bridesmaids walked down the isle, but my wedding was so haphazardly throw together that the sound guy didn't play the song until its end. The main reason I wanted this silly Celine Dion song played was for the final lyrics -
And with this ring our lives will start, swearing that we'll never part. I offer what you cannot buy, devoted love until we die.
Oh well, a wedding is just a wedding after all and just like me not being able to have The Smashing Pumpkins played at my reception I didn't get what I wanted with my wedding music either. Life goes on. And now you can all mock me for playing Celine Dion at my wedding -
