Sad

Natasha Richardson's death is really affecting me. I don't really know why. It's just so sad. That poor family. Maybe I feel this way, because it makes me think back to my sister and all the emotions you go through when a family member dies suddenly.

Ugh I couldn't believe it.

My mom was at the store and saw a mom with her children all in helmets. She was terrified that a fall could do the same to them. I also saw a couple kids at the park with helmets.

I thought it was ridiculous a few months ago when I saw a helmet marketed to parents who were worried about their children getting head injuries from falls. Those people are probably going to make a lot of money now.

It really is quite scary though.

I've never seen the helmets, but after what happened to her it makes me wonder if they are not such a bad idea.

It's affecting me too. My brother was 45 (same age) when he died three days after he hit his head in a fall. My mother says she can't stop crying over the whole Natasha death and I feel the same upset. I think you are bang on about it bringing up past feelings.
