So, I was driving to school doing my normal thing when all of a sudden there were 3 cop cars on the left of the road and 2 cars on the right. The police man motions for me to get between the two cars. At first I'm so confused, but then I realized that it was for speeding. I GOT A TICKET FOR GOING 10 MPH OVER THE SPEED LIMIT! The cops were just sitting there flagging people down and pulling them over and giving them a tickets! Do they not have anything better to do on a Wednesday morning? I guess the new order of importance is this:
1. Going 10 mph over the speed limit
2. Going 15 mph over the speed limit
3. Going 20 mph over the speed limit
4. Having possesion of illegal drugs
5. Driving will intoxicated
6. Murder
The ironic thing is that this happened in a nice area and the way I used to go was through the ghetto. I guess I'm safer from being pulled over by the cops going the ghetto way instead of going through the nice neighborhood!
Seriously? and since this happened in the city of Houston I have to go to court, ugh! But anyway, I'm just glad that I got this ticket instead of the pain in the ass one I could have gotten a week ago. Thankfully, I got everything updated before this happened. And even though it's going to cost money, it could have been a lot worse!
