Last night I made beef stew cooked in beer! (cover your ears, ladies and vegans.) And it was a special, special food. May have over-salted. did over cayenne. but.. since I love salt and cayenne pepper... I really don't see where's the bad.
Christmas shopping, let's see, I have everyone covered at this point except the ever-difficult dad-set, but I think I will get AM some salsa music, which just leaves daddy, and I can always just get him an electric nose-hair plucker, right?
I am getting the FBF an air bazooka. Actually I am getting him two, so we can have air wars. WOO! American Science and Surplus is a great institution. I am also getting his daughter a complete Winnie-the-Pooh book, because she's being raised on Disney's WTP and it's a little vapid to my mind. Child needs a does of Victorianism. The good kind, where women make out with their friends while their husbands attend dog fights and children's stories are a TEENSY BIT disturbing and fairly complicated, not the bad, corset-y kind where everybody's huffing ether.
What do my wonderful creative friends do for their fathers at holiday time?
