Couldn't have said it better myself. It's part of this whole temping thing before I leave for MA. It was a group of ten actors, musicians, and opera singers promoting the peanut farmers of America.

please please please tell me the opera singers were singing peanut arias ... it would make my day ... and it would prove to me once and for all that the real power in America lies with peanut associated action groups

No, I'm sorry :( All we were doing was handing out packages of peanuts and being swarmed by New Yorkers who wanted free food. You know how the Victoria's Secret sale is like vultures circling the kill? This was much, much worse.
