Brisbane is having a heat wave. It is disgusting and I am sick of sweating perfusely just from standing still. Moving right along now.
Had an OH SNAP VINDICATED moment with Sherlock S2E1, regarding the violin-ing (I believe that is vague enough to not be a spoiler, those who've seen it will probably be able to guess what I'm referring to).
Suffering from what I'm terming "Fandom Fatigue": the amounts of CRAZY I've read about S2E1 of Sherlock are really starting to wear on me--pretty sure it's getting like Doctor Who. You watch it, think it's AWESOME COOL then read the SA forums, everyone picks the episode to SHREDS and you're left wondering if it was actually AWESOME COOL or if you were just insane. And also that people care far too much about things that a) DON'T MATTER, REALLY and b) MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE ACTUALLY HAPPENED, EITHER. So yes. Idk.
Also starting to suffer from "Brisbane is a tiny place and I'm bored and I want to get the hell out of here" and wondering if I'm going to have to be forcibly put on the plane back to Australia when I have to return from London. Honestly, if I come back here with a lessened Australian drawl I will be personally quite glad but pretty sure the people I deal with on a daily basis would pay to get rid of me again. OH WELL.
To sum up: heat waves can sod off, I should spend less time on the internet, and perhaps find more tolerant/less judgemental friends.
