the one with five things on a thursday
1. Explaining what a PhD in music (research) entails to undergrads is just slightly more fail than explaining it to anyone else.
2. Apparently my theory of "if I wear this band tshirt, then people in my lecture who also like the band will talk to me" from circa 2004 has finally been proven accurate, a mere 6 + years later. Coheed and Cambria ftw.
3. Being the person stupid enough to organise non-class meet ups and whatnot apparently makes you "approachable" and people will converse with you as if they know you, which is bizarre, because you know they know who you are, but you've got no freaking idea who they are. This must be what it's like to be famous lol.
4. wtf body, randomly being nauseous from midday till about half-one was Not Fun
5. Eating cheese and apple slices however, Is Fun or at least Is Tasty.
