the one with seven things
Over the past few days I have:
1. Accidentally driven through the Clem7 thanks to Grandma's terribly inaccurate direction.
2. Driven to outside of Boonah "just for kicks". Guess what's outside of Boonah. Paddocks. Grass. Cows. Dead wildlife on the roads. It was super exciting, obviously.
3. Still been headcoldy. No time to relax means the power of being awesome alone hasn't been able to make me healthy again yet.
4. Beaten my eight year old cousin at soccer. Damn him, I do not feel guilty about that, because he cheats.
5. Gave same cousin a violin lesson despite not knowing how to play violin. I HAVE GENERAL MUSICIANSHIP SKILLS. Apparently. Whoever knew a music degree means you know about music. Also, his teacher is rubbish. He hasn't been taught about rhythmic values, nor any sort of basic tonality. Basically, it's plonk this number of fingers on these strings and hope for the best. Wtf. You can't tell me an "approach" that involves just hoping that people will believe you're playing a G when you're actually playing something more like A-sharp/B-flat is helpful. Argh.
6. Not gone to uni to work today (actually just went to give Sarah her lab coat and have lunch).
7. Accepted Sarah's challenge to wear my MinkPink polka dot tunic shirt every day this week in a different way. Winning equates to being more awesome. I WILL WIN. Yes.
