So apparently my two most recent posts have been quite heavy on the caps lock. Let's hope I have now learnt some sort of restraint in that regard.
Woah. Now that was a pretty darn good episode. I really like how Matt Smith is quite young but Eleven is really old at times. This probably makes no sense. But there are just some grouchy old-man-esque aspects and it's really apt.
Wooo Glee tomorrow :)
This is so belated, but I have actually watched the season finale of White Collar. I am in awe of the writers for the show, because they actually managed something so few people seem to be able to do these days, and didn't lose their ability to write their characters into interesting plots half way through the season.
I find it so odd that when Triple M plays 80s music, they always pull a song from Paul Simon's Graceland album. I mean, it's good and all, I love Graceland, but it's just...weird. idk. I'd love to lecture for the popular music courses at uni, because I know for a fact that Graceland is covered in one of them. Also I don't think it'd be going too far to say that I have a closer relationship with pop music from the 60s-today than most of our Classically trained lecturers. I'd try to bring in a lecture that focused on the problem of genre in the nineties/now (biggest example being Bright Eyes as "emo". You probably wouldn't be suprised how many traditional country aspects Bright Eyes has).
This post is so all over the place... Today I went to Forever New and got another couple pairs of 120 denier tights. FN is one of the only places that makes one size fits all that actually fits me. If I had the money, I'd probably actually buy clothes from FN but their style is way more frilly/pastel/girly than my own style. That said, I did find a nice black shift dress with minimal ruffles today that I'd wear (oddly, the thing keeping me from even trying it on was that a 6 looked like it'd fit me. I don't want to be a 6. That's Barbie or tinytiny Asian girl small. Yes, I am mad. But I'd be happier with an 8).
