the one with an okay tuesday
So last night I learnt how to play The Way We Get By by Spoon on the piano. This is awesome.
Today it was incredibly hot, which is not awesome. I did not cry today (hurrah) but did feel a bit numb-sad (sad, but oddly disconnected from it). I spent a million years trying to get the Sonic Visualiser to match two recordings, something I didn't realise I needed a new plug in file for, but apparently did. Eventually it got done. Argh. Remind me again why I decided that using technology was going to improve my methodology? Even I don't know these days. Progress continues at a snails pace. On one hand, it is brutally slow and driving me insane but on the other hand at least it's not just stagnant and is actually moving forward.
Tomorrow I'm going to meet Celia for morning tea at the Pig and Whistle at Indooroopilly. I plan on getting a rosewater lemonade again. Initially it tastes like regular lemonade but then BAM it's turkish delight. Om nom nom. And yes, at around $5.50 a glass it is ridiculously overpriced.
