So it turns out, that I thought I'd posted sometime this week, only I hadn't. Hmm. Anyway. Between my last post and now I have been applying for a freaking zillion jobs because that's what you have to do on the Jobseeker program from Centrelink, and also slowly doing my research proposal. The research proposal is an epic battle as I have to find EVERYTHING that I'll need and write a lit. review and an extended bibliography and OMG I already have 12 pages and it's really not that much stuff to be honest. I hope to mostly have it finished by Christmas.
Speaking of Christmas, how freaking mental have the people in shopping centres been lately? Pretty freaking mental, if the level of insanity that was present when I went to Carindale (twice in one day - it was not by choice) on Thursday is any indicator. It was epic. I still need to buy wrapping paper and a present for my brother. His present is 95% likely to be a Top Gear DVD, because it is excellent. Am not looking forward to Christmas. The family lunch is always just an excuse for relatives to hand me their small children to look after in the mad hope that I'll decide to get married and have children. It has not worked yet, and I dare say is likely never to work. Small children scare me more than old people, and I swear they can tell when you're afraid.
Anyway.
