Christmas wrap-up....

So it's half past eight and I still haven't eaten dinner, unless in your opinion a bottle of ginger beer and four pappadam's equals dinner. I personally, do not believe that. I was going to have pasta for dinner, only the thing is that it kinda fell to bits for some reason and I really don't feel like eating pasta-mush. Talk about unappetising.

Christmas was alright in the end, I suppose. Boring as all hell, and also really quite hot, but then again isn't it always? And now it's New Year's eve...woo? Heh I really don't tend to get very worked up about New Years, mostly because, if you think about it, what's to say that the day we think is the start of the year actually is the start of the year? What if it's all just one big year? Hey? You should probably just ignore my reasoning, and go with the 'I just can't be bothered' excuse instead. Both are equally applicable to me.

I have decided that I like British magazines. Bob got a airfreighted copy of the Top Gear magazine, and omg, one of the journalists used the word 'indefatigable'. I am impressed. If you can show me an Australian magazine that displays a similar vocabulary, I will give you a prize. (It will possibly be a Hello Kitty sticker, because I have a zillion). I really like Top Gear. Oh yes indeed.

Sometimes, I really wish I was more artistically inclined. I mean, I can play piano and I used to be able to write short stories and junk, but it really takes like a lightning strike of inspiration for me to draw something worthy of being called art. But even with music, I prefer to be nerdy and analyse harmonisations rather than compose a melody. OH WELL I WILL JUST HAVE TO DEAL.

Here's to hoping everyone has a great New Year.

extended vocabularies, art, lack of food, christmas, music, hello kitty, top gear
